Youth hockey in Minnesota

It is so tempting to curl up on the couch with a lap blanket and watch some TV in mid-January. But, I have a kid who loves to play hockey, specifically goalie. So I brought the camera out to my first ever mite hockey game and it was kind of fun. :) There is something very peaceful about being outside in the winter (dressed properly) and just hearing the sounds of sticks and skates. I think I might be in for a couple decades of being a hockey dad...













































And to be fair, here is son #2 playing basketball!
